Abella Wedding and Events - Chisago City, MN

Young & so in love these two are!!

The day before their wedding I met this couple & their families out at Abella to coordinate their rehearsal. I love being able to help coordinate & direct how a ceremony will look.
The day of their wedding the ceremony ran so smoothly with zero hiccups. The whole day was flawless!
K'leigh and I were able to assist in setting up and decorating the reception hall. It turned out beautifully!!! Like better than I ever imagined. We pay attention to all the fine details that some might not recognize. But it matters to us!

At the end of the night, the bride & groom did their sparkler sendoff. The moment the sparklers were lit, the rain slowly started. It was perfect & beautiful timing. The rain held off all day until that moment. A little rain with some sparklers to send them on their way as a newly married couple.

Now comes the downpour of course. Come time to pack up and load vehicles, it was a treacherous downpour. K'leigh and I were running in and out of the building loading cars. Soaked beyond soaked. The DJ was not able to even load up his equipment due to the rain and not wanting to risk ruining his belongings.
K'leigh ended up ditching her shoes, my watch ended up breaking, water up to our ankles in the parking lot and so much more happened to us but we wouldn't let that stop us. Thankfully we had a suitcase of clothes and were able to change before the 2 hour drive home. It's still an honor helping family at the end of the night no matter what the weather throws at us so the family doesn't have to do most of the work!
