Rental Terms

1.Renter is responsible for picking up and returning the rental items. Location is private, Kayla will send you the address. (Unless other arrangements/agreements are made and confirmed with Kayla) 1a. If available, Kayla or team might be able to drop off morning of your event. Fees apply. 1b. If availabe Kayla or team member might be able to meet half way with the items. Fees apply. 2. Items can be picked up, up to 4-5 days before your event date and must be returned no later than 5 days after your event date. 3. A rental deposit of ½ the total cost is required to secure the rental items for your event. If you do not pay ½ down, your event date will not be secured. The remaining ½ will be due upon your pickup date. All rental items are on a first come first serve bases. The deposit will be invoiced to the client. All invoices result in a 4.5% processing fee. 4. Orders $300 or less require a $100 CASH damage/replacement deposit. Orders over $300 will require a 25% CASH damage/replacement deposit. The damage/replacement deposit is due upon pickup of items. The damage/replacement deposit will be refunded in full (in cash) after KP Events & Co. LLC confirms the rental items have been returned on time and in the same cleaned condition when they were picked up. If repairs, cleaning or replacements are needed, the price will come out of the damage/replacement deposit. If the damages are more than the cost of the damage/replacement deposit, Renters will be charged accordingly. A full price sheet is listed below. 5. It is the Renter's responsibility to return the rented item(s) in a CLEAN condition. A deduction from the damage/replacement deposit will be applied if items are returned including but not limited to: food, dirt, spillage, mud, tape, CANDLE WAX, etc. 5a. Someone from KP Events & Co. will meet with you upon returning the items. They will look over all items and make sure all items are accounted for & clean. 6. The deposit to secure the items for your date is nonrefundable. This shows me you’re serious about renting the items. If for some reason you need to cancel your order, this will result in forfeiting your security deposit. 7. If the items are returned later than the required return date without confirming with KP Events & Co., this will result in forfeiting your damage/replacement deposit along with $20 a day late fee until returned. Please be mindful that someone else might be renting the same items after your event. It is cruicial that items are returned on time & cleaned condition. 8. If items are returned that have not been cleaned, this will result in a $75/hour cleaning fee that will be deducted from your damage/replacement deposit. ALL items must be cleaned. Even if ONE item is not cleaned. Please make sure that ALL items are cleaned upon return. Candle wax takes a very long time to clean. Please make sure you do research on candles that are smokeless & dripless. This will help save on cleaning time. 9. Any fees including but not limited to: late, damage, lost, stolen, cleaning ect. will be invoiced to the client. Payment is due upon receiving. If payment is not received within 5 days, it will accru a $10 per day late fee up to 30 days. 10. KP Events & Co. LLC is not responsible for any injuries or damage caused by the rented items. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rental Company from any liability arising out of the use of the rental items. Clients that rent any items will have to sign a contract with these terms along with rental specifics. Ie: Number of items rented, replacement costs, total fees, etc.
